30 Mar Daily Dollop of Encouragement: Persistence
Sometimes it’s helpful to a take a moment, step back, and get a little piece of encouragement. May this act as your daily dose of inspiration.
When we think of great individuals over the years who have become famous by their own skills and labor, we don’t tend to think of how these people got to where they are.
It wasn’t by a stroke of luck that got them to where they are today.
It was persistence, hard work, and dedication that drove them to their goals.
From time to time, we may feel like we aren’t going anywhere; that we are steadily walking down a path of failure when results aren’t instantly apparent.
This is where many people fail — but not you.
You, of all the people in the world, have the ability to persevere and reach your goals.
You have the power to do what you wish, and to fulfill what you were put on this earth to do.
You have the persistence inside of you. Realize that, and awaken your inner resolve.
Giving up is so easy, it’s almost commonplace in society. People start projects, ventures, and businesses, and watch them all take hits left and right. They feel defeated, and their confidence in their abilities begins to waver.
In lieu of this, take a moment to realize that if all of these people who have accomplished these great things can do it, you can too.
You’re human, just like them.
You have the same power and potential they all have. And it all begins with believing.
Always believe in yourself, and stay persistent with all of your goals.
If you feel like giving up when the going gets tough — don’t.
Think to yourself about all of the amazing things that you will accomplish if you were to persevere. Keep the idea in mind of what it will feel like when you climb the mountain, not what it’s like climbing. No business was built in a day, no success was obtained without struggle.
Remember, you’re climbing that mountain at your own pace, and when you get to the top, it’ll be more bittersweet than you could have ever imagined.
You’re awesome, so go on and have an awesome day!

Posted at 14:54h, 03 AprilGreat article!!! I made up my mind years ago that I am the one who decides what my attitude will be each day and how I approach each day. Who we are comes from within and WE are responsible for our actions.
